I remember collecting this car with Louis several years ago and spending several days detailing the car to get the paintwork looking perfect. Louis then spent even more money by getting the chrome work restored, interior reupholstered and the roof recovered. Its a stunning example of a 1968 Mercedes Pagoda 230SL which have been lovingly restored.
Louis has asked me to give the car a little TLC very soon and I will be doing a full writeup of what I have done and what this car means to me as a detailer.
We were commissioned to detail and protect a 2011 Harley Davidson Fatboy Special. The bike was made especially interesting in that the colour option chosen was Black Denim, which is a dark matt black. Exhaust was a custom Vance and Hines, also in black denim, plus the alloys were Black Bullet Hole cast aluminum discs. This meant that the alloys were only part painted the remainder being bare aluminum and the paintwork would be particularly prone to weathering.
Its taken a while but we finally managed to sort it out. All the water we carry on board is deionized. This means that we are using the softest water to valet and detail your car with meaning much reduced chances of water marks left behind from hard water and a better more shiny finish. The best has just got better.
