Range Rover Sport, Part 2

Proper refurbishment of alloys

The alloys had had a lot of use and had been refurbished on site a few times. The result of having alloys done on site is that you will get contamination in the paint and paintwork that has not cured properly. This is fine as a quick fix but it will wear and as shown start to flake. For it to be done properly they have to be striped, powder coated and then resprayed before being baked in an oven. This is a longer process and means the car is out of action for a few days but for a detail such as this, there is no point in letting the side down with shoddy alloys.

Danny, from Autowiz is one of the few guys I would trust in any alloy refurbishment and we have built a good working relationship over the years. As part of the package on an Extreme Detail I will always advise if the alloys should be done as well. The results I think speak from themselves.
